Tampa Duct Pros

Advertising disclosure

Tampa Duct Pros is an advertising and referral service operated by Pinecrest Advisory Services, LLC. Here is exactly what that means.

No duct, vent or mold work is done here

Pinecrest Advisory Services, LLC operates Tampa Duct Pros as an advertising and referral service. It does not clean ducts or dryer vents, service HVAC equipment, or assess or remediate mold, and it holds no contractor license and no mold license. Each service described on this site is provided by an independent local company with which we have a referral arrangement.

Phone calls, recording and the form

We operate the phone number on this site, which is a tracking number, and calls are forwarded to the independent company. Calls may be recorded. You are told this by an announcement before the call connects, which is your chance to hang up or switch to the form. Florida is a two-party consent state; the announcement is there so consent is given before any recording begins. We store form submissions and pass them to the company.

The fee the duct company pays

The company that receives your inquiry pays us, either as a fixed monthly fee for inquiries from this site or as a fee per inquiry. You are never charged. The company's prices carry no mark-up from us, and we take no share of what you pay them.

What is passed on about you

The company receives your name, phone number, address details and description so it can get in touch. We keep a log of inquiries to see whether the site is working. Your details are not sold, and they are not sent to a group of companies to bid against each other.

Why there are no reviews

No reviews or ratings appear on this site, because we have done no work and collected no reviews. The photographs are licensed stock, credited below, and show no work done by us or by the company we refer to.

Codes and rules change

The guides are general information about duct and dryer vent cleaning around Tampa. Building codes, permit requirements, utility programs and licensing rules change, and some differ by city and county. Before relying on anything that matters, check it with the City of Tampa, Hillsborough or Pasco County, Tampa Electric, or the Florida DBPR. Nothing here is legal, medical or insurance advice.

When a job goes badly

Your contract for the work is with the company that did it, so a complaint about the job goes to them first. Tell us too; we would rather stop sending inquiries to a company than keep sending them to one doing poor work. A complaint about an unlicensed contractor can go to the Florida DBPR, and one about a deceptive sales practice to the Florida Attorney General's consumer protection division.
